### → Devastating Floods Continue in Nepal
Kathmandu, September 9, 2026: Nepal is continuing search and rescue operations after devastating floods hit the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli River areas in late August. The floods were triggered by the collapse of a Himalayan glacier, causing massive destruction across several districts.
According to the Nepal government, 1,367 bodies have been recovered, while more than 5,100 people are still missing. Over 13,600 people have been rescued from the affected areas.
The floods destroyed homes, roads, bridges, and hydropower projects, leaving thousands of families displaced. Relief teams are working to restore electricity, roads, and communication services.
Nepal has also started using drones to deliver food, medicine, and other emergency supplies to remote villages where roads have been washed away.
This disaster is one of the worst floods in Nepal’s recent history and has received international support for rescue and relief operations.

### ☆ The Secret Door of Time ☆
One Sunday morning, Riya was helping her grandmother clean the attic of their old house. While moving a dusty wooden box, she discovered a small silver clock. It looked very old, but it was still ticking.
The clock had a message engraved on it: “Time opens only for a brave heart.”
Curious, Riya turned the clock's tiny key. Suddenly, a bright golden light filled the room. A secret door appeared in the wall. Before she could think, the door slowly opened.
Riya stepped inside and entered a strange world. The sky was purple, trees had golden leaves, and birds sang beautiful songs. A friendly fox came near her and said, “Welcome to the Valley of Time.”
The fox explained that this magical place was losing its memories. Every day, one memory disappeared forever. If all memories vanished, people in the real world would forget their happiest moments.
Riya decided to help. She travelled through the Valley of Time and collected three magical memories: Kindness, Hope, and Courage. Each memory was hidden in a different place.
First, she climbed the Mountain of Courage and crossed a narrow bridge despite her fear.
Next, she entered the Forest of Kindness, where helping a lost little bird opened a hidden path.
Finally, she reached the Lake of Hope. The water showed her future dreams, but she had to believe in herself before she could take the glowing memory.
When all three memories came together, the silver clock began to shine. The Valley of Time became bright again, flowers bloomed, and the sky filled with thousands of stars.
The fox smiled and said, “You did not save time with magic. You saved it with your heart.”
Riya returned home through the secret door. Only a few minutes had passed, but she felt as if she had lived a whole adventure. The silver clock had disappeared, leaving behind one tiny golden feather.

घड़ी पर एक संदेश लिखा था — “समय का दरवाज़ा केवल बहादुर दिल के लिए खुलता है।”
रिया को बहुत उत्सुकता हुई। उसने घड़ी की छोटी चाबी घुमाई। अचानक पूरा कमरा सुनहरी रोशनी से भर गया और दीवार में एक गुप्त दरवाज़ा दिखाई दिया। कुछ ही क्षणों में वह दरवाज़ा धीरे-धीरे खुल गया।

रिया ने इस घाटी को बचाने का फैसला किया। उसने तीन जादुई यादों की खोज शुरू की — दयालुता, आशा और साहस। हर याद एक अलग जगह पर छिपी हुई थी।
सबसे पहले वह साहस के पहाड़ पर चढ़ी। डर लगने के बावजूद उसने एक संकरे पुल को पार किया और साहस की याद प्राप्त की।
फिर वह दयालुता के जंगल में गई। वहाँ उसने रास्ता भटके एक छोटे पक्षी की मदद की। उसकी दयालुता से एक गुप्त रास्ता खुल गया और उसे दूसरी याद मिल गई।
आखिर में वह आशा की झील के पास पहुँची। झील के पानी में उसे अपने भविष्य के सपने दिखाई दिए। जब उसने खुद पर विश्वास किया, तब झील से चमकती हुई आशा की याद बाहर आई।
तीनों यादें एक साथ मिलते ही चाँदी की घड़ी तेज़ रोशनी से चमक उठी। समय की घाटी फिर से जीवंत हो गई। फूल खिल उठे और आसमान हज़ारों तारों से जगमगा उठा।
लोमड़ी मुस्कुराकर बोली, “तुमने समय को जादू से नहीं, बल्कि अपने अच्छे दिल से बचाया है।”
रिया गुप्त दरवाज़े से वापस अपने घर आ गई। घर में केवल कुछ ही मिनट बीते थे, लेकिन उसे ऐसा लगा जैसे उसने एक लंबा और अद्भुत सफर तय किया हो। चाँदी की घड़ी गायब हो चुकी थी, लेकिन वहाँ एक छोटा सुनहरा पंख रह गया था।
रिया ने उस पंख को अपनी डायरी में संभालकर रख लिया और धीरे से कहा,
